Operating Hours

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is currently open 5 days per week (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from 10am to 5pm (last entry is at 4pm)
To make the most out of your visit, we recommend allowing at least 60 minutes to walk through the attraction

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is located in Australia’s leading shopping centre, Chadstone - The Fashion Capital at 1341 Dandenong Rd, Chadstone, Melbourne, opposite Hoyts on the second floor and near Target

Additional Information

Adults (18+) must be accompanied by a child (except at our adult only evening events) when visiting LEGOLAND Discovery Centre
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the attraction
Child aged 2 years and under are free
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over)
Tickets are non-refundable
Please be ready to make on-site payments using a 'contactless' bank card, rather than cash

You are required to select a date and time for your visit when making your online purchase
Ensure you visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne at the date and time you select. Latecomers may not be allowed entry
Once inside the attraction you may stay as long as you wish
Pre-purchased tickets are only valid for the date you have selected upon purchase. If presenting a ticket on a date other than the date you have selected, additional fees may apply or admission denied

“ The Legoland Discovery Centre was such a great experience. They had a complete model of Melbourne’s most iconic landmarks such as Flinders Street Station, Eureka and Queen Vic Market. It’s great for kids since it’s so interactive and it has two awesome rides as well. There’s even a 4D cinema! Overall, had a really awesome time.

Nice experience, but probably would be a once-off visit, unless you have an annual pass of some sort.

Both kids (aged 2 and 4) enjoyed the experience, it would have been nice if some snacks for the kids can be brought into the centre (didn’t try bringing any in as it was stated no outside food allowed). I guess they wanted to make people buy from their cafe. But given tickets are not exactly cheap, people shouldn’t have to spend even more on food if they didn’t want to.

Awesome experience, the Legoland Discovery Centre was an overall great time, there is a lot to do and wait lines are managed well too, since there is a time cap on the visit for a generous 2.5 hrs per session.

Very good not much to do but it was good food ok daughter love if so that’s alll that matters

My daughter loved it, spent hours just playing with Lego and on the rides food was ok and she enjoyed the playgrounds. Daughter loved it so that’s all that matters...and for the money it was a good few hours and she enjoyed just pushing the buttons to the Lego show.

We went to Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne first time on school holidays with 3 kids

We went to Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne first time on school holidays with 3 kids. They are very happy and satisfied: lots of activities, rids and even 4 D cinema (we went 2 times for different movies). We ordered our tickets online with Experience Oz; was quick and easy. Kids are happy and one of them even wants to come back and celebrate her next birthday. We recommend this experience but probably not on holidays.

A little expensive but a great place

A little expensive but a great place, lots of fun. The movies are good, the rides are awesome, and the play areas are fantastic. The kids had a ball. The lego displays are incredible and very interactive, lots of buttons to push, which kids love doing. The cafe is expensive. Overall a good day out.

All is great good fun value for money a lot of people on weekend need to bring food cafe packed go early not late close at 5 but will stay all day if needed movies are good but long wait session is very 10mins so need to line up cars are good fun small environme

Great as a one time visit especially if your kids enjoy Lego

Great as a one time visit especially if your kids enjoy Lego. Though I personally feel it's priced a tad steeply for the offerings but not still would not consider it as being overly exorbitant. The rides can get crowded on weekends so plan your entry times accordingly. Overall worthwhile couple of hours to spend with the little ones getting a chance to explore their creativity.

A fantastic experience

A fantastic experience. The rides were great but the Melbourne city Lego display was amazing. So much time effort has gone into to creating this fun adventure. My children enjoyed everything from looking, riding and creating their own masterpieces. The 4D cinema was incredible. The only downside was there were too many people in there, very busy.

Easy to buy; easy to redeem at the Legoland Discovery Centre

Easy to buy; easy to redeem at the Legoland Discovery Centre. First time at Legoland and it did not disappoint. Perhaps though the experience is a bit pricey so would do with another discounted voucher for more visits. I found that most visitors were spending no less than 2 hours so be prepared to queue during peak periods for attractions within the venue.
